These are our Fabulous school Councillors
The school council is a very important part of Harewood. Each year group chooses two councillors to represent their views. At our regular meetings, we discuss the issues that the classes have raised.
Recently, we have: actioned the purchase of new playground equipment; raised money for ‘Children in Need; met with the Chair of Governors and entered a sponsored Santa Dash and held a Science Fest with our Eco-Committee.
Our School Council also present an award on behalf of classes each half term. The winner of this award is chosen by the classes and is someone who demonstrates one of our school values or demonstrates being a positive role model. Previous awards include those who are good friends, are caring or trustworthy. The theme of award for each half term is chosen by the school council and presented in the final Celebration Assembly.
