Class 2

 

Our teacher is Mrs Dodd.  Mrs Miller teaches Year 2 on a Wednesday afternoon. 

 

Our specialist teachers are Mrs Watts who teaches Year 2 science on Monday and Year 1 on Wednesday.  We are also very lucky to have the talented Mrs Jarvis teaching music on a Thursday afternoon and the amazing Mrs Reynolds who leads the productions and drama teaching for the class. 

 

Our teaching assistants are Mrs Reynolds who works Tuesday-Friday mornings and Bella Reynolds who supports us on a Monday morning.

 

Our homework is to read our reading scheme books at least 3 times a week, to learn our spellings and also complete the maths sheet that we will bring home on a Friday. We complete English, Maths and Phonics lessons every day. We do ICT and science on a Monday. On Tuesdays we do topic and art. On Wednesdays we do Science. On Thursdays we have music, PSHE and drama. We finish the week with an extra PE and RE. 

We need our PE kit on Tuesdays and Fridays. We read wonderful story books and bring learning to life each and every day to make Class 2 an enjoyable and happy place to be.
